World :)

Don't know if you have read this before...but it is awesome stuff. Came as a forward from a friend.

A Worldwide survey was conducted by the UN.

The only question asked was: "Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

The survey was a huge failure.

The reason: In Africa they didn't know what 'food' meant, In India they didn't know what 'honest' meant, In Europe they didn't know what 'shortage' meant, In China they didn't know what 'opinion' meant, In the Middle East they didn't know what 'solution' meant, In South America they didn't know what 'please' meant, And in the USA they didn't know what 'the rest of the world' meant!!

CC - Courtesy Copy !

I did not know this. And I bet you didn’t know either…unless you work with NASA or ISRO or Mossad.

We all CC our mails in our daily life. But do you know what CC stands for? Carbon Copy?

There, I got you! It is wrong. I came to know yesterday that CC stands for “Courtesy Copy.” So much for all those orders from my boss: ‘Send Rajesh the mail and CC me.” I guess, he should stop using the word “CC”.

This left me wondering what “BCC” stands for. Apparently, it does mean “Blind Courtesy Copy” because the protagonist is blind to the information that somebody else has also been CC-ed.

Before I could confirm that “BCC” stands for “Blind Courtesy Copy”…I thought it was an acronym for “Blind Carbon Copy” …ofcourse.....Hey…would you want to forward this Blog url to your friends? If yes, why don’t you CC me?

Courtesy Copy, of course.

Charlie again

I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart. I have never figured out why the sexual desire gene gets thrown into a state of turmoil, when it hears the words "I do."

For example, one evening last week, my wife and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said "WHAT????!!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every husband on the planet dreads to hear..."You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night I went to sleep. The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'll just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings.

Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement.

Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, Let's go to the cashier".

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled WHAT???!!!"

I then said, "Really honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for awhile.. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.

Schumi is back !!

It was arguably the best race this season !! Man Watta Race !Should say you missed a lot if you are a F1 fan and missed the San Marino GP.

The race started with MS in the 13th position ---- few laps and a two pit stops later , we saw MS racing up to the second position - He finished the race on position 2.

Couple of firsts in this race --->
- First race this season that was a pleasure to watch !
- We did not a Alonso - Trulli 1-2
- Saw MS on the podium for the first time this season

The First half of the race seemed to move with the same excitement as any other race generated this season - not much to talk about. If in the first half , the camera focus was on all other drivers and cars , we saw Schumi steal the second half.... Although Schumi did a brilliant job , I must give due Credit to Alonso who did a wonderful job of blocking Schumi all the way till the podium....

Hope to see a ferrari 1-2 in the next race :)

Wish....

**Sometimes i wish that i never saw you, that i never met you and that inever knew you. its not because I don't like you, neither because I hateyou, but because i felt fear that one day I might lose you..**

my True love.....

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman, in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On examination it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in
such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said. "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be...........

From birth to a certain level
Shapes and grows under one shelter
Faces lots and lots of ups and downs
Loses the grip to face the obstacles ahead
Leaves it half heartedly, ... turns back
A rising call from the background
Come on ,Come on, Start it again
Starts, think of his dreams and desires
Learnt and acquired from the corners
Shapes the life style to the atmosphere
Works hard, Concentrates deeply towards the goal
Works through days and nights sincerely
Again the wave of ups and downs
Now, At ups , Appreciation and graces all around
At downs, encouragemets and advises all around
Caught the clear picture towards the goal
Sacrifice, Dedication, Sharing all around
The gaps seems to be very small
Finally attains the glory and relaxes for a while
A flash passes through the mind
And thinks of "HOW" did I get through ?
Some time later , realize the answer for "HOW"

Can U Guess, - "HOW"

Its because of friends like you
